Box-Build Assembly and Test

PAS also performs product completion, testing, and fulfillment.

Here you can see a first responder system in final assembly.  The SMT and soldering the mechanical components have already taken place and now the assembly for the enclosure is taking place.

Depending on the assembly, this may entail conformal coating, epoxying, RTV lining, and the board being mounted in the lower half of the enclosure.

Next the Storage Device (SD) is programmed and the unit is pre-tested.

Having passed pre-test, the body camera is enclosed and the unit is final tested.

The second unit of the system is the charger and it is also enclosed and tested.

The third and final assembly of this system is the transmitting, receiving unit that is mounted in the squad car. This allows video and voice communication with the camera unit.  Post assembly, it is tested.

Now, the system is labeled, packaged, and shipped.
